Florida Raised Garden Beds, Made Here
Made by a gardener who wanted something better.
Ryan, an avid gardener with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, spent hundreds of hours prototyping the raised garden bed he could not find anywhere else: permanent, beautiful, modular, colorful, and made from exceptionally strong concrete right here in the USA.
The idea behind Radical
A concrete planter can be a permanent upgrade.
Each panel carries the same sculpted botanical pattern and measures approximately 33 inches long, 14 inches high, and 3 inches thick.
Beds begin with four panels. Additional panels use the same $60 per-panel price, making the cost easy to understand before planning the final footprint.
What defines the product
Made to do more for your garden.
- Modular Panels fit together at multiple angles, from a four-panel square to larger rectangles, octagons, and layouts that can grow with your garden.
- Recognizable Concrete can be molded into deep tropical patterns and colored in three Florida-inspired shades, with natural Manatee Grey as a fourth option. The color is part of the concrete, not painted onto it.
- Made here The focus is making the highest-quality product possible in the USA while benefiting the local community.
From the gardener behind Radical
Why I built Radical Raised Garden Beds.
As an avid gardener, I wanted raised beds in my yard because they offer so many benefits over an in-ground garden, especially with the Florida sand we all have to work with. They let you build rich soil where your plants need it, make water and nutrients easier to manage, reduce weeds and compaction, and make the garden more comfortable to tend. The only issue was that I was not completely happy with the garden beds already available. I spent hundreds of hours prototyping until I came up with what I believe to be the ultimate garden bed. I knew concrete was the best material for the job. It does not rot like wood or rust like metal, and it can be molded into amazing patterns that bring a garden to its full potential. Its biggest problem is weight, so I designed individual modular panels that a healthy adult can carry and put together without heavy machinery driving through the garden. The panels can connect at different angles and create everything from a four-panel square to octagons and beds as large as you want. Hundreds of hours of prototyping and refining a layered, fiber-reinforced concrete construction led to this modular panel system. It is nothing like regular concrete from the hardware store. I want these beds to be something you buy once, a permanent upgrade for your garden. To me, an investment in a garden bed is an investment in the health of your family, your community, Florida, and American manufacturing.
